HISPALED receives EU grant for automated street lighting systems

Hispaled has been the beneficiary of the first open call for Advanced Technology Adoption Projects of the European Union's Single Market Program through the Eurocluster SILEO project (GA 101074564).

The advanced project, entitled ARLOS (Automatic Road Lighting Optimization System), aims to develop an algorithm and implement an automated road lighting optimization system. It is carried out in collaboration with the technology provider OxyTech srl. The automation of this process will not only speed up the completion of projects, but will also ensure more accurate lighting level calculations. This accuracy is crucial, as more accurate calculations allow for better optimization of LED roadway luminaire configurations, which translates into greater energy efficiency.

Improved energy efficiency through more accurate projects will significantly reduce costs for local authorities and support communities' sustainability efforts.
